First things first, you can complete your Jobma pre-recorded video interview from anywhere, using your desktop. For the full device requirements, see Device Requirements & Settings.

Let's dive into the steps:

Open your invitation email and select Start Interview to launch the interview.

Next, choose your preferred language, and the entire interview will flow in your selected language.

When you’re ready, click Get Started.

On the next screen, you’ll see your name and interview details, including the company and job title you’ve applied for, interview duration, and number of questions. You’ll also see the terms and privacy policy, explaining what information is collected and how it's used. To continue, please review and accept the terms. Once done, tap Continue.

Jobma will automatically check your system for connection speed and camera/microphone availability.

When prompted, allow full access to your camera and microphone.

Once the system check is complete, click Continue.

Your interview is ready to launch. You can follow a step-by-step interactive tutorial on how the interview process works, including how to record and submit your responses. Or, click Skip to get started with the interview.

Before starting the interview, you can practice with a Practice Question to get comfortable with the interview process and check your audio and video quality. You can also select Start Interview Now to jump right into the interview.

When you're ready, click Start Interview. The instructions window gives you the quick guidelines on timed questions, actions to avoid for uninterrupted flow, and camera & mic usage.

Your question will be on the left panel. Some questions may have a think time to allow you to review the question and prepare your answer before the recording starts.

Each question has its own time limit and retake limit. Complete and submit your response within the given time frame. Remember to look into the camera, not the screen.

When answering questions, you can:

  • Start and stop recording the question by clicking the record button Interview
  • Click Retake to discard your response and re-record the answer.
  • Click Submit to submit a response.

Continue recording your responses with confidence until all the questions have been answered.
